In the Executive Director’s office at Seolgang Group, Kyo-Shin turned his gaze to the sub-monitor.

On the screen, a GPS chip blinked at the Business School marked on the Korea University campus map.

Ddiriring—!

Kyo-Shin checked the photos and files sent by the surveillance team he had attached to Shin-Yeon.

The images showed Shin-Yeon, adorably pulling off an old-money look, having a meal with new friends.

“He said he’s not picky with food, and sure enough, he eats well. He’s curious about everything, too.”

Smiling, Kyo-Shin recalled Shin-Yeon’s chatter from the previous night.

“I’m making new friends and trying new foods. Next time, let’s go on a date together and eat some delicious Indian food.”

Because Shin-Yeon wanted to try new things with his husband and worked so hard at it, he looked so lovable that Kyo-Shin ended up devouring him.

After being overwhelmed with passionate love until dawn, Shin-Yeon barely managed to get up in the morning and dragged himself to class.

“I’ll definitely have to hold back during the week.”

It was one of the side effects of Shin-Yeon’s college life—he had less time to spend with him.

Caressing Shin-Yeon’s image on the monitor, Kyo-Shin opened the attached files.

“The new friends are Park Kyung-Joo, Hwang Bo-Yoon, and Han Tae-Young, huh…”

He investigated the backgrounds of the friends who would be with Shin-Yeon for the next four years in as much detail as possible.

He started with Park Kyung-Joo, who stuck close to Shin-Yeon most often.

“Park Kyung-Joo, daughter of the president of a Paris Group affiliate hotel.”

The pretty 20-year-old had a good personality and excellent high school grades.

However, records showed that in high school she had been bullied after being falsely accused.

Most of the false accusations stemmed from love affairs, yet ironically, Park Kyung-Joo had always been single, making the slander all the more painful.

At present, Park Kyung-Joo mistakenly thought Shin-Yeon was Seolgang Group’s illegitimate child, but because she was kind, she wanted to get along with him.

“Now what to do about this…”

Before the semester started, Kyo-Shin had told Shin-Yeon not to mention he was married, since it might make it difficult for him to make friends.

If Shin-Yeon ever felt threatened by an alpha or got tangled in some messy love triangle, only then would they reveal his married status.

So even though he was misunderstood, the person in question—Shin-Yeon—seemed blissfully unaware.

From Kyo-Shin’s perspective, someone like Park Kyung-Joo was acceptable as a friend, so he let her pass.

“Hwang Bo-Yoon, second son of HB Trading.”

Hwang Bo-Yoon, who showed signs of having romantic interest in Shin-Yeon, was still in the stage of befriending him.

Like Park Kyung-Joo, he came from a prestigious high school and had fairly good grades.

He served as class president all three years of high school and was active in the student council.

Kyo-Shin read that Hwang Bo-Yoon had dated a few times during his high school years.

He was even openly showing interest in Shin-Yeon as a potential romantic partner.

“Since Hwang Bo-Yoon is the same type as Ji Won-Min, my baby won’t see him in that way.”

Good thing my baby is so oblivious.

Last night, Kyo-Shin had subtly tested him, worried Shin-Yeon might try to hide his chats with friends.

“Baby, is it okay if I check your phone?”

“Yes, it’s fine. You don’t hide anything from me either, right, Honey?”

Starting with call logs and messaging apps, Shin-Yeon even gave him the passwords for his banking apps.

It was something only someone purely and blindly trusting could do, without a trace of suspicion.

Would Seo Kyo-Shin ever meet another person in his lifetime who could love him so innocently?

“The only reason I go this far is because my baby is just too lovable.”

Passing over Hwang Bo-Yoon’s information, Kyo-Shin narrowed his eyes as he opened the report on Han Tae-Young.

Han Tae-Young was an extremely dominant alpha, 194cm tall, with an impressive physique.

He acted like a taciturn loner freshman, but in truth, he had a secret.

Han Tae-Young had debuted in his mid-teens as the youngest member of the 7-member idol group Blaze.

Born to a Dutch-American father and Korean mother, his striking looks had earned him an early debut.

But the group never found major success, and last year his agency suddenly announced Blaze would go on hiatus, along with Han Tae-Young.

In reality, it was practically a suspension caused by long-standing conflicts with the company.

As soon as his personal contract ended, he left the agency, though discussions about group activities were still ongoing.

Since two years ago, as both group and personal schedules dwindled, he had begun earnestly preparing for the college entrance exam.

“Nationality: American. Birth name: Ethan O’Hara. Korean name: Han Tae-Young.”

When he signed with the company before debut, they had strictly concealed his Korean name to protect his privacy as a minor.

Moreover, it was also kept secret that his parents owned a world-famous record label.

“They must be preparing him to inherit the company, seeing how seriously they’re pushing him to study business.”

Since two years ago, Han Tae-Young had disappeared from television and the public eye, entering Korea University under his real name while hiding his face.

Being an extremely dominant alpha, he couldn’t hide his height or build, but he disguised himself with a completely different style.

“My baby isn’t interested in celebrities, so he must not know and just befriended him.”

Han Tae-Young must have realized that Shin-Yeon was unaware of his true identity and more oblivious than expected, which was why he felt safe showing his face.

“It was the right decision to register the marriage quickly.”

Having an overly sharp, extremely dominant alpha hanging around nearby was not something Kyo-Shin welcomed.

Ddiriring—!

The moment Kyo-Shin checked the newly arrived photos, his gaze instantly turned cold.

“Looks like I’ll need to tighten the reins a bit.”

In the photo, Shin-Yeon was awkwardly smiling while other alphas tugged off his coat.

The opening ceremony in the main auditorium had just ended.

Mixed in with the crowd of freshmen leaving the hall, Shin-Yeon carried his jacket pressed against his chest, his expression clouded.

“Shin-Yeon, are you okay?”

Park Kyung-Joo, noticing his pale face, came over, grabbed his arm, and pulled him close.

While Hwang Bo-Yoon wrapped an arm around Shin-Yeon and scanned their surroundings, Han Tae-Young approached.

“Let’s go to the lounge for a bit.”

“The afterparty will be at Chamdon Myeongga! All freshmen must attend, so make sure to come!”

With announcements echoing from all directions, Shin-Yeon slipped away with his friends to the lounge for a short break.

“You alright?”

Before the opening ceremony, Shin-Yeon had gone alone to the restroom, where he ran into a group of upperclassmen.

They had all been coming down the stairs together, many of them unfamiliar faces.

When the freshman Shin-Yeon greeted them first, the seniors kindly told him to make sure he attended the ceremony before moving along.

The friendly, good-natured seniors left in a rush, and he avoided the ones who usually bothered him.

But then some unfamiliar upperclassmen approached him.

“Wow, isn’t this from Italian high-end brand B? Hey, let me try it on just once.”

Startled by Shin-Yeon’s simple, elegant suede jacket, one senior urged him to take it off quickly.

Recalling Park Kyung-Joo’s warnings, Shin-Yeon tried to refuse.

But a few more unfamiliar seniors joined in, grabbing at his bag and clothes without permission.

In the end, his jacket was forcibly stripped off and passed around among them.

“Holy shit, this costs as much as a compact car.”
“You really know fashion, huh. Wanna join our inter-university club?”
“Hey, lend it to me for three days. I’ll give it back later.”
“The one you’re wearing on top is nice too. Perfect length. Damn, that waistline is sexy. Are you an omega? Dominant?”

Trapped and restrained, unable to do anything, Shin-Yeon was only freed when other upperclassmen stepped in and returned his clothes.

“What the hell’s wrong with you bastards! Scaring a freshman like that! You think this is still middle school or high school…?”

“You okay? Must’ve been a shock. Here, take your jacket. Sorry about them—I’ll apologize on their behalf. Hurry back to the auditorium.”

Barely making it back to the ceremony, Shin-Yeon reunited with his friends and explained what had happened.

In a crowd, it was natural that there would be good people, bad people, and strange ones all mixed together.

It was natural, and yet…

“Your expression looks terrible. Are you sure you’re okay?”

Park Kyung-Joo asked worriedly, noticing how Shin-Yeon clutched his jacket to his chest without putting it on.

“Um, Kyung-Joo… is this jacket really expensive?”

When Shin-Yeon held out the jacket and asked about the price, Park Kyung-Joo glanced at Hwang Bo-Yoon and Han Tae-Young.

From behind Shin-Yeon, Hwang Bo-Yoon quickly shook his head, signaling not to tell him.

“Between eighteen and twenty million won.”

“…Haa.”

At Han Tae-Young’s blunt answer, Shin-Yeon hugged the jacket tighter and lowered his head, looking defeated.

“So who the hell were they? Were they at the ceremony?”

“Yeah, who were they?”

The three, shocked to hear his jacket had been forcibly taken off, pressed him for details.

“I don’t really know… they were upperclassmen I’d never seen before. Probably second-years. They even tried to pull up my shirt and touch my waist.”

“What the hell is wrong with those bastards! Who were they?!”

Furious, Park Kyung-Joo shouted in anger, while Han Tae-Young let out a sigh.

“Give me the jacket and deodorizer.”

Taking the jacket and deodorizer from Shin-Yeon’s arms, Han Tae-Young walked out.
