Eun-Yul, who was sitting across from Lim Bong-Soon, had Hyun Je-ha’s eyes follow his spoon wherever it went. When the spoon went into the soup, he watched it go, and when he scooped up the rice, he watched him take it in as well.
“Do you really have to watch other people eat like that?”
When Eun-Yul couldn’t stand the burden of that gaze and spoke, Hyun Je-ha looked at the empty bowl in front of him.
“I ate it all.”
“Who said you can’t eat rice on a regular basis?”

Eun-Yul looked at Hyun Je-ha with his cheeks puffed out. He thought he was calling him because he was jealous of his eating, but Hyun Je-ha’s calm gaze caught his eye.
“You…”
“What? Why did you stop talking?”
As Eun-Yul quickly chewed and swallowed the scrambled eggs and rice before answering, Hyun Je-ha’s eyes once again looked lost in thought.
“You said you weren’t dating Ha-Joon, right? Then…do you like Kang Ha-Joon?”
“Whether I like Kang Ha-Joon or not, I don’t want to tell you.”
“Why?”
Eun-Yul was even more embarrassed by Hyun Je-ha’s innocent response.
“Why, well… Anyway, I don’t want to get involved with you over that anymore, so don’t ask.”
“I want to do that too, but I can’t.”
Hyun Je-ha shook his head and got up from his seat. He sat down next to Lim Bong-Soon, across from Eun-Yul, and took out a new spoon.
Hyun Je-ha, who was looking at the spoon and then holding it out to Lim Bong-Soon, remained silent even as the two people looked at him in disbelief.
“You want some too?”
As Lim Bong-Soon placed the same scrambled egg on his spoon, Eun-Yul unconsciously looked at Hyun Je-ha’s mouth.
It’s so small that it doesn’t seem like it’ll fit an egg roll, but he wonders if he will open his mouth wide like him and eat it. He became curious without realizing it and started watching.
“Grandma’s scrambled eggs are huge.”

Eun-Yul accepted Hyun Je-ha’s presence at their lunch table and ate scrambled eggs.

What kind of friend is he all of a sudden? Eun-Yul cut it off.
“You have a friend, Nam Goong-Hyuk.”
“He likes me. I want not just that, but someone I can really open my heart to.”
He found it by pure coincidence. It was Sung Eun-Yul, the person Kang Ha-Joon was obviously interested in.
“Why are you and Kang Ha-Joon so simple?” Eun-Yul muttered, unable to hide the sighs that were welling up in him. Sung Eun-Yul was the one who had tormented them in the past, so why was he opening up his heart so much and approaching him when they met again?

It’s a shame that Hyun Je-ha came to Eun-Yul later than Kang Ha-Joon and Nam Goong-Hyuk, but he quickly came to a conclusion. He wanted to be friends with Eun-Yul.
