Chapter 51. Ending 

Melia clenched her teeth for once.

“I told you to talk, but you wouldn’t listen.”

“……”

“I thought the rumors would die down if I kept my distance. So I waited.”

“……”

“What on earth do you want me to do? If you’re only going to listen to me if I cry, why did I get married? Why did you marry me for this? You weren’t like that before marriage, so why did you suddenly become the embodiment of stamina?”

“I’m sorry…. I was wrong.”

Caron wrapped his arm around Melia’s waist and hugged her affectionately.

“How could I not be solemn when I have such a beautiful wife? Kissing the most precious and splendid jewel in the world.”

Arthur, who was second to none in loving his wife, was disgusted because he couldn’t stand the words he just said.

It was hard for him, a long-time friend, to watch Caron Berdrant become a lover.

Melia, who had just smiled and shook her head, looked up at Caron this time without saying anything.

Arthur, who had been talking to her while making eye contact, followed her gaze and looked at Caron.

Arthur patted Caron’s shoulder, who suddenly appeared as a loving husband. He gave him sincere advice.

After that, the conversation between the three of them flowed smoothly. Then, when Caron said that he wanted to introduce Melia to others, the conversation naturally ended.

In front of the other nobles, Caron hugged Melia as if he was proud. He held her shoulder as if he was stroking it, and he never let go of her hand.

It was clear to anyone who saw that he was completely immersed in Melia and was having a wonderful honeymoon.

The people who were invited to the banquet were surprised at the 180-degree change in his appearance.

It seemed like Caron Bertrand truly loved Melia and married her.

What was even more unbelievable was the stories he would secretly share about the succession and Melia’s complaints every night that she was so tired.

No matter how much they listened to it, it sounded like they were having a normal marital relationship.
