Hi! I've just discovered a new scientific fact: the more coffee I have, the more amazing things I can accomplish. ☕️✨ So, to be able to do more projects (and support my caffeine addiction), how about fueling me with a Ko-fi donation?

Woo-joo was born 37 weeks before the sun set. Kang Ha-Joon, who first met him when he was born in winter, said that he would never forget that moment for the rest of his life.

Every moment of meeting Woo-joo will be intense, but the moment of birth will definitely be the one that he will remember for a long time. Eun-Yul still vividly remembers his first meeting with Ha-Neul.

The one who welcomed Eun-Yul back home after resting at the hospital was Lim Bong-Soon.

“Are you here?”

“grandma.”

As Eun-Yul’s face distorted in surprise and joy, Lim Bong-soon took Woo-joo and hugged him.

“Why did you come?”

“Why did I come? I took care of Ha-Neul, but who are you going to leave the Woo-joo in?”

“Grandma.”

Eun-Yul hugged Lim Bong-Soon with a moved expression on his face.

“Grandma, why are you trying to make it difficult for me again?”

“What’s so hard for you about this?”

Eun-Yul acted as if telling me not to say that. It was Lim Bong-Soon who raised Ha-Neul in his stead, even though she knew nothing.

She held Ha-Neul, who woke up frequently, and gave her a bottle at the right time. Not only that, but she even washed him when Eun-Yul, who was scared because the baby was so small, couldn’t. So it was safe to say that Ha-Neul was raised almost entirely by her hands during his newborn days.

Eun-Yul didn’t like it when she acted like she would look after Woo-joo again, even though he hadn’t forgotten that favor. More than anything, he was worried that she would have a hard time.

However, Lim Bong-Soon did not back down easily.

“This time, I’m just going to look at it with my eyes.”

“How can you see it only with your eyes?”

He knows that it won’t work. He was worried that he would make her suffer, but then he felt warmth wrapping around his shoulder. Kang Ha-Joon patted Eun-Yul on the shoulder to tell him to calm down.

“The babysitter will come separately. I won’t make things difficult for Grandma.”

Eun-Yul nodded with relief when he told him not to worry and that he could stay with Lim Bong-Soon.

“A guy who didn’t believe me when I was the one who saw through it the first time.”

Lim Bong-Soon clicked her tongue and said that she just let it go when Kang Ha-Joon spoke, and took Woo-joo into the newly decorated room.

When she came to visit at the hospital, she only saw him once with her eyes, so Lim Bong-Soon never put Woo-joo down after that.

Eun-Yul knew this would happen.

* * *

“It’s a baby.”

Just like Lim Bong-Soon, Ha-Neul, who had only seen the baby with his own eyes at the hospital ultrasound, looked at Woo-joo with wonder. When he came back from kindergarten and was told that his younger sibling was here, he was so excited. But when he was shown him, he sat quietly and watched without even running around, fearing that dust might fly.

“A real baby.”

Ha-Neul looked up at him while holding him close. He put his hand next to the sleeping Woo-joo’s face and gently touched its quilt.

“It smells like a baby.”

He spoke with his nose buried deep in his mouth and sniffed, but he kept his voice very low for fear of waking him up.

“Is it that good?”

When Lim Bong-Soon asked, Ha-Neul nodded.

“It’s so small and cute.”

“You were this small too.”

“I’ve grown this much now. Woo-joo will have to grow to that size in the next five years. Then I’ll grow even bigger, right?”

“I hope the two of you grow to be as big as bean sprouts.”

Ha-Neul nodded his head sharply at Lim Bong-Soon’s words, which meant to grow quickly.

“I will raise Woo-joo.”

“You?”

“Yes. I will feed him formula and change his diapers. I will also wash him every morning.”

As Ha-Neul counted on his fingers, Lim Bong-Soon stroked the child’s hair with his rough hands.

“Okay. Take good care of him. When did you grow up so much…….”

There was a time when he was as small as Woo-joo, and Eun-Yul, who was sitting in a corner, heard Lim Bong-Soon mumbling. Eun-Yul had the same thought. When he looked at Ha-Neul alone, he thought he was really small and cute, but when he saw Woo-joo, he felt he was relatively much bigger.

“What are you doing there?”

“Hmm. I see what you mean by it looking good.”

It was a scene that made him smile even though he did nothing. Also, he couldn’t believe that he gave birth to that person.

“Let’s not stand, let’s rest.”

Kang Ha-Joon gently pulled Eun-Yul closer, covering his shoulders with a cardigan.

“I’m fine because I keep resting.”

“You don’t look good on me.”

When Kang Ha-Joon asked him to lean on the sofa or the bed, Eun-Yul turned around as if he had no choice.

The start of the day, his first day back home and being alone with Woo-joo, wasn’t bad.

* * *

Euaaaah.

Exactly three hours later, Eun-Yul rolled over at the sound of the baby crying. He laid down on his right side and then on his left side, there was Ha-Neul. But there was another movement next to him as well.

Unlike the hesitant Eun-Yul, Kang Ha-Joon quietly and quickly got up and picked up Woo-joo, who was crying, from the crib.

He had to put Woo-joo in his crib and let him sleep in the bedroom, but seeing him like that, Ha-Neul wanted to sleep with him, so he brought him here. He was worried that he would wake up at night when Woo-joo cried, but fortunately, Ha-Neul fell into a deep sleep in Eun-Yul’s arms.

Kang Ha-Joon carried Woo-joo into the living room and fed him formula milk. As soon as he finished feeding him the formula milk, Woo-joo became quiet. Kang Ha-Joon let out a sigh of relief.

It took half a day for Kang Ha-Joon to sit on the sofa, afraid that his movements might cause Woo-joo to hear a noise. Only after sitting down that slowly did he let out the breath he had been holding.

Even though no one had told him to hold his breath, Kang Ha-Joon was so careful that he ended up just letting out a silent laugh.

It is said to weigh only 4kg, but to him, it felt like a thousand pounds and he was careful. When he was holding Woo-joo, he couldn’t take a single step without thinking, so his usual smooth movements were greatly reduced.

Kang Ha-Joon stared down at Woo-joo, who had already finished drinking his milk and was now asleep. The facial features packed tightly into his face, which was smaller than his fist, were so lovely.

Kang Ha-Joon, who was looking at him, let out a regretful sigh. If only he had caught Eun-Yul a little sooner, then wouldn’t he had been able to see Ha-Neul’s baby appearance?

If he could go back to that time, he will do everything he can to meet Eun-Yul sooner. Actually, he didn’t know. If he really went back to that time, what could do?

Would he be happy if an omega he don’t love had a child with him?

The more he looked into his complicated mind, the more pathetic he felt. If he couldn’t even decide that he could love Sung Eun-Yul, how could he possibly welcome Ha-Neul? It was nonsense.

So he thought he had blamed himself a thousand times. He’ll live his whole life carrying this burden on my mind and he’ll pay Eun-Yul back for it forever. Even if he thinks that way, he won’t be able to see Ha-Neul’s childhood again.

“Ha-Joon?”

“Are you awake?”

Kang Ha-Joon raised his head and tried to approach Eun-Yul, but he was distracted by Woo-joo in his arms. Thanks to that, he stopped with his butt slightly off the sofa, and Eun-Yul came over and sat down next to him.

“Why didn’t you lay down while he was sleeping?”

“I just missed it because I was thinking about something.”

“What were you thinking?”

At Eun-Yul’s question, Kang Ha-Joon closed his mouth as if embarrassed, but then gave up and spoke. He thought it was better to just say it out loud than to hide it.

“I feel sorry and regretful that I couldn’t see Ha-Neul when he was a baby.”

One of Eun-Yul’s eyebrows went up.

His expression as he looked out into space seemed complicated and subtle. He knew it would be like this.

Eun-Yul grabbed Kang Ha-Joon’s chin and turned him so that he could look him in the eye.

“Do you want to see Ha-Neul when he was a baby?”

“I saw it in a picture.”

Eun-Yul looked into Kang Ha-Joon’s eyes, who couldn’t hide his regret at not being able to see him in person and caressed his cheek.

“It is a shame to only see it in pictures?”

When Kang Ha-Joon nodded, Eun-Yul let out a sob. If you just looked at the picture, you’d probably know

“You saw the picture, didn’t you feel anything?”

“I think he would have been cute.”

“Of course. No, I will show his face when Ha-Neul was a baby.”

Since he said it would be faster to show than to explain, he thought he might want to watch a video.

Kang Ha-Joon secretly hoped that there might be a video he hadn’t seen.

Eun-Yul, who saw that his eyes had improved, delayed answering for a moment before fixing his gaze so that he could look out.

“Okay, look.”

“Huh?”

“He is exactly like Ha-Neul. So, it wouldn’t be strange if Ha-Joon were to say that he’s looking at Ha-Neul and Woo-joo at the same time.”

Eun-Yul took his hand off his face and gently caressed Woo-joo’s sleeping cheek.

“Do you know what I thought when I first saw him?”

At that time, he saw Woo-joo from the operating room.

“Did my time go back?”

Kang Ha-Joon’s lips formed a soft curve as he spoke, recalling the time when he gave birth to Ha-Neul.

“They were so similar. So look at this.”

Eun-Yul picked up his phone and said he would show him the evidence as if it was not a joke.

“You go into the character search here and click on Ha-Neul, right? Then…….”

Ha-Neul’s photos were selected from the gallery. Eun-Yul, who was looking at them, pushed the screen towards Kang Ha-Joon again.

“Can you catch Woo-joo here too?”

He told me that Ha-Neul’s face when he was young was just like Woo-joo.

“They are our two children, so how different could their faces be?”

The yield has coolly driven in the last stake.
